QESTonline uses a type of collaborative, user-driven database called a Wiki. The Wiki project is maintained by the project contributors and administrators at MediaWiki. The most well-known Wiki is the collaborative online encyclopaedia, Wikipedia.
The Wiki uses several features of many of the popular languages that are used on the Web; including XHTML, CSS, and PHP. These languages are extremely widely used and are supported by all major graphical web browsers. However, because their specifications are recommended guidelines only, they are not enforced. Additionally, those who write the specifications are not the same people who design and create the web browsers that implement them. Because of this, different web browsers will render a given page slightly differently.
QESTonline is best viewed with the free Mozilla Firefox web browser1. Viewing QESTonline the way it was intended to be displayed is best done using Mozilla Firefox.
