QestOnline uses a type of collaborative, user-driven database called a Wiki. The Wiki project is maintained by the project contributors and administrators at MediaWiki. The most well-known Wiki is the collaborative online encyclopaedia, Wikipedia.

The Wiki uses several features of many of the popular languages that are used on the Web; including HTML], [CSS], and [PHP].
